New plant spot - Pink Shepherd’s-purse

It is always great to see a new plant and pink shepherd’s-purse (Capsella rubella) was seen on a Devonshire Association Botany section meeting in Barnstaple, North Devon. Lovely pink sepals and occasionally a pinkish colouration to the petals too. We were also shown four-leaved allseed (Polycarpon tetraphyllum), eastern rocket (Sisymbrium orientale) and one sharp-eyed member of the group found purple ramping-fumitory (Fumaria purpurea) which is a great record.
